rammys: Tyla wins inaugural Best African Music Performance category, beats Davido, Asake, Burna Boy 4th February 2024 Tyla Tyla By Ajisafe Olayiwola South African singer, Tyla, on Sunday, has won the award for the Best African Music Performance category at the 2024 Grammys. The female rapper beat off competition from Nigerian acts – David Adeleke, aka Davido; Ahmed Ololade, aka Asake; and Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy.
